Life and Hope Charity International is a non profit humanitarian organization based in the United Kingdom and the United States of America founded by a group of volunteer good citizens and an award winner, both in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Life and Hope aspires to help reduce the serious effects of poverty, disease and deprivation in the United Kingdom, United States and other countries of the world especially third world countries in Africa, Asia and South America.

We have staffed offices in London, UK and in Los Angeles, USA from where we carry out our operations.

 

Our staff are on standby to explain what Life and Hope Charity does in detail and how your money would be spent, where it goes and the relief it brings to thousands and millions around the world.

Our Objectives

To alleviate poverty in Great Britain, United States of America, Asia, Africa, South & Latin America as well as the South Pacific by providing the basic necessities in the likes of agricultural aids for rural farms in these areas.

 

To assist and help locals  in these areas to self substinence by providing them with funds to learn new trades and engage in other practical ventures.

 

To assist in the provision of educational aids to children in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the South Pacific countries.

 

To provide medicine, food, clean water, mosquito nets and basic needs to help them with improved health, reduced child mortality and improve life expectancy in these countries.

What we do

Britain

 

Britain has one of the worst rates of child poverty in the industrial world, more than 1 in 4 children live in poverty, we are working to end child poverty in Britain, we support youngsters to learn trade to keep them away from crime.

 

Many children in Britain are missing out on good quality education, some 10,000 are permanently excluded from school each year and additional 11,000 are simply not getting enough support and help and this is unacceptable to any descent human being.

 

Drugs & Alcohol Misuse in the UK and USA

 

Drugs and alcohol misuse in the UK is a very serious problem, it is estimated that 350,000 to 400,000 children have a parent or parents who are affected by drugs or alcohol use in the UK and between 1.5 to 2.5 million children in the USA who are affected by drug or alcoholic addiction of a parent or parents in the USA.  These are some of the groups we intend to target and help as well.

 

Third World Poverty

 

Life and hope charity is committed to alleviating third poverty in most of third world's impoverished nations. These nations stem from countries in Africa, Asia, South and Latin America and Eastern Europe.

 

We provide food, medicines, shelter and logistics to these poverty striken nations in these continents.

 

We help communities to develop themselves and obtain skills for life to help sustain themselves in the long term.

 

Tackling Poverty

 

We are lobbying the government to help end child poverty, many low income families struggle to pay for basic necessities such as adequate heating, nutrition. Poverty also causes social exclusion and limited access to local services such as leisure activities. The government has promised to halve poverty by 2010 and end it by 2020, and life & hope are monitoring its progress.
